Jacks Tomorrowland
We’re fundraising for Jack.
Jack has been diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer, aged just 31 years old. Treatment options are extremely limited due to the location and stage of the cancer. Unfortunately, Jack's prognosis isn’t good. Jack does not have treatment options on the NHS and the best hope is to secure private treatment via immunotherapy and clinical trials abroad.
This scenario is immeasurably hard for Jack, his partner Charlotte, and their family and friends. Sometimes life deals cards that you can find no reason for, that just can’t be rationalised. In times like this you have to respond to, and manage the hand being dealt in the best way you can. We’re fundraising to support Jack to cover the expenses associated with treatment, travel and accommodation in Germany.
Jack’s spinal extraction hasn’t worked. The lab simply can’t isolate enough tissue they need to test the protein to identify a targeted treatment. The lab have said themselves this is very rare.
Then there’s more bad news.. We go back to Germany at the end of next week to continue the treatment he’s been having but after next weekend we are COMPLETELY OUT of money.
We’ve been fundraising hard but there just simply isn’t enough filling up the pot to keep up with the costs every 3 weeks.
After next weekend we’ll have spent around £150,000 on Jack’s treatment in 4 months!! (Almost all fundraised)
The last two weeks have included the highest highs with the news of Jack’s tumour shrinkage and announcing our little miracle but we’ve been crashed back down to reality today.
We are so grateful for the help we’ve had so far but we are desperate.
